TAYLORMADE GLASS A STORY OF SUCCESS
Proud Ballardong/Yued Noongar man, Michael Taylor, is the Owner and Director of Taylormade Glass.
Taylormade Glass is a 100% owned and operated First Nations business specialising in high-quality glass and glazing services. With support from his partner Anita, Michael has been running his business since 2017.
Since becoming a Waalitj Hub client, Michael said the marketing support he has received through the hub had enabled him to compete with much larger companies.
“I am so grateful to the Waalitj Hub for providing such fantastic marketing support services,” said Michael.
“Until now, I have received all my business through word of mouth, but the marketing experts at the Hub have helped me increase my online presence, which has led to more business,” he said.
“I’ve received so many compliments on my website and business cards.”
With support from his Hub Business Coach Rob Barton, Michael was able to build his contacts in the building industry.
Michael recently attended the Waalitj Hub Regional Pop-Up Hub in Mandjoogoordap, proudly supported by the Alcoa Foundation.
“Rob has pushed me out of my comfort zone and encouraged me to meet and network with people in the industry. The Pop-Up Hub events have been the perfect opportunity to engage with potential clients face-to-face” said Michael.
“He has encouraged me to see the big picture and set big goals for the future of my business. He is exactly what I needed in a business coach and mentor.”
Rob said he is proud to have played a part in supporting Michael and Taylormade Glass to amplify their story, value and service offering through marketing and coaching.
“Taylormade Glass is wonderful story of success. Michael has built up a strong business following delivering high quality glazing services to residential, commercial, and industrial customers,” said Rob.
