Indigenous Scholarship Applications now open

We are thrilled to announce that the 2024 Indigenous Scholarships Program is now open for applications! In an exciting collaboration with Shell’s QGC business, this initiative aims to empower and support First Nations students on their educational journey towards securing tertiary and trade qualifications.

The Indigenous Scholarships program is aimed at increasing the number of Indigenous Australians with tertiary and trade qualifications to enhance employment outcomes, with a specific focus in the resources sector.

Key Features:

First Nations Mentors: Successful applicants will be paired with experienced and dedicated First Nations mentors. These mentors will provide invaluable guidance and offer support throughout the academic journey.

Industry Networking: Participants will have access to industry networking, allowing them to connect with professionals, explore career opportunities, and gain insights into various fields

Leadership Opportunities: The program actively encourages leadership development, through mentoring and special events, students will have the chance to enhance their leadership skills and become confident advocates in their communities.

Priority for Traditional Owner Groups:

Priority will be given to students descended from the Traditional Owner groups under the Shell QGC footprint in Queensland.
